So How
I believe everyone's got their program lined-up. Me too. A fairly uncertain one with the rain and all killing the mood but ANYWAY... I think everything's gonna turn out fine.Lots of places are cancelling their celebration. No more fireworks. Moments of silent are in place. Donations booths set up. It's a tingling sort of warmth for times like this but an SMS sent to Perfect 10 this morning is worth a thought.
"A disaster happened doesn't mean we have to stop all celebrations. I think we need celebrations to help us look forward and the remembrance of the lost lives is a wake-up call for us to value them. Usher in the new year with cheers, with the hope of better times ahead." (Paraphrased)
So, a happy 2005 to all and I believe lives will be transformed, in a good way.
Bye 2004. It has been great meeting you.
Peace t'yall.
