So Random VII - Getting to the throne
A long time ago, there lived this king who has two princes. One day, the king knew he could not "last" any much longer and called his two sons to his bed side.King:
"I'm going to die soon but I would like to crown one of you as king first before I go. So, each one of you go take your horse and ride away. The owner of the horse who comes back later will be crowned the king."
So the two princes went out with their respective horses and rode REALLY SLOWLY as they both want to be king. They were riding for a while and they both reached a town. A wise man from the town came out and wondered why these two princes are riding painfully slow. The princes then told him why.
The wise man smiled, thought for a while and said something to the princes. The princes followed the wise man's instructions and almost immediately sped back QUICKLY to the palace with the horses.
What did the wise man 1) say to the princes, and 2) what made the princes suddenly decide to rush back when they both REALLY WANT to be the king?
