The king's coat and some other stuff

Now, I write.

After much deliberation and procrastination, I BOUGHT A HONG KONG TV SERIES! Haha...

Title: Witness to a Prosecution II (洗冤录2).

What it's about: A man becomes a coroner for a small town. Every episode, someone dies mysteriously and said-coroner finds out why. For a small town, it does have many angry, vengeful people.

Episode in question: The-execution-of-the-princess'-husband-who-happens-to-be-a-murderer

Synopsis (in brief): Princess' husband killed someone. Husband is on death row. Princess is very sad and does not want husband to die. She went back to the king and brought the king's coat to the execution ground just before her husband is about to be executed. (My thoughts -- She has A LOT of time to go back and find the king but she must wait until the last minute before she appears with the coat. Moreover, most of the time she's whining to the maid, crying to her husband. Why can't she use the time to rush back to the king? Producers!!! Please!!!) Anyway, she came back with the coat and holds it up in her hand and stops the execution. She puts the coat on her husband-the-death-row-convict and said: "The king's coat is on my husband. You cannot kill him." Executioner stops, everyone keeps quiet. Silence reigns.

Suddenly, a STRONG WIND blows! Woo....Woo.....(No prizes for guessing what happened next.) Wake me up when wind stops blowing. So strong wind comes and.....drum roll....blows the king's coat on the princess' husband away and it lands on a tree! Judge immediately orders the executioner to chop, since the king's coat is no longer on the murderer. Princess runs to the tree and tries to retrieve the coat but since she's short and the coat is hanging on a high branch, she's still jumping when the executioner choppity-chopped her husband-the-murderer's head off.

Lesson: REVELATION FROM A HONG KONG SERIES. FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF SANE. Jesus' blood our coat of righteousness is on us and we are not under the accusations from the devil. We are free and all our sins (p, p and f) are all paid for! And moreover, His coat on us will never be blown away by any menacing winds of tribulations. We are forever secure as long as the coat of righteousness is on us. And He said: I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Now, onto other stuff.

Lump on Sane's left jaw bone: Still there. Smaller but no more pain.

Holy Communion: Still taking. Praise The Lord.

Grad school updates: One school is not offering financial package. Total cost is US$80,000 for two years. To hell with it.

Another school hasn't sent me financial package info. But total cost is US$50,000 for two years.

Third school is offering me a first year scholarship and assistantship of US$16,000. Total cost for one and a half years is US$36,000.

Dance: Have you heard!? SANE CAN FINALLY DANCE WITH ADVANCE PARTNERS! Yes, most of whom I danced with are high-level dancers! I also managed to dance to a whole song with an advanced dancer (who also happens to be a dance instructor), WITHOUT BREAKS OR MISTAKES! It was "3 minutes worth of turns and 5 spins at the finish". Man, I was high!

Out (and High)
