Aku Homesick

I miss home liao....

Yesterday the weather was -22 degrees celcius.

READ:

MINUS TWENTY TWO DEGREES CELCIUS.

Never.In.My.Life.Had.I.Experienced.Minus.Ten.Before.

(Except for one of my A Math test... which I got a -15, because too many wrong answers...but that's another story.)

Anyway...

It's so cold that ICE is forming on my window.

It's so cold I'm sleeping wearing a jacket, and with two blankets.

It's so cold my legs feel like frozen sausages when I'm walking.

It's so cold that even friends who grew up in even northern places in the USA say it's cold.

It's so cold that cars do not want to start.

It's so cold that it is not snowing anymore.

It's so cold that the dogs are wearing sweaters, indoors.

You know what? I take back my words.

I don't like snow that much. I can bear seeing it for a short time (read: 3 days, -5 enough already), play with it, have it in my hands for awhile... that's enough.

I want the fling to be over.

I don't want it to hang around for months and months.

I don't want to be greeted by it everytime I look out of the window.

I don't want to feel it breathing onto me when I sleep.

I don't want to spend 30 minutes every morning preparing to go out, piling on layer after layer.

nope. no more. i am beginning to not-to-like snow.

I miss Mr Sun.

Remember how I sleep on the beach, bearing my skin to your warm rays?

Remember how I walk outside with bare shoulders while you gently tan me evenly?

Remember how I can stroll out of the house with no worries about how I may just turn into a human icicle?

Remember how I used to say I hate the hot sun?

SANE IS SORRY. I SHOULD BE MORE APPRECIATIVE OF YOUR GREATNESS AND FAITHFULNESS, FOR NEVER LEAVING ME IN THE ICE COLD WORLD.

Now I am at the mercy of winter, I can't help but miss the warmth and rays of good ol' Singapore.

The closest I can get to Singapore now is the talk about execution.

Ah, the wonders of hype.

PS: After reading the comment from Jer, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry... or I should just give up and die...

PPS: I am listening to UFM on internet radio. Guess what I heard? Wong X*** L*** (one teeny nectarious saccharine taiwanese pop singer) said while traveling at somewhere (cannot catch where) that she is very cold. She complained that it's very cold and since it's noon, it's actually warmer. At night, it's even colder. And her warm is 9 deg celcius and her cold is 7 deg celcius. I feel like punching her in the face and scold T@M@D3 three times.

=====
Miss home. Next entry will be about food (probably).
