Haha..... Will be typing in Singlish hor...

You know what? I'm homesick, again. I think the 47th time this week. I want to eat steamboat, go shop for new clothes, go Chinatown eat free bahkuas, or just eat bahkuas....

You Singaporeans are all so, so blessed. Sigh.... Who will be so kind as to send me a packet of bahkuas huh? No need Mei Zhen Xiang.... any brand also ok. Desperate liao...

I recently used RealPlayer to listen to radio. I was so happy when I can tune in to Singapore radio channels! YEAH!!! I listen to UFM, Dongli, Power 98... (You ask why I never listen to 933 or Perfect 10? The reason is their address is wrong so I cannot connect... That's why.)

Then I also go to Youtube and watch all the Chinese MTVs. I really miss ktv leh. How ah? I so miss KTV that I am now accepting bookings from anyone who wants to go sing with me when I go home in 2007.

And by the way, there are quite a few nice songs on UFM leh. There's Kiss Goodbye by Leehom Wong (very very very nice). Then there's also 不怕蟑螂 by Guo Mei Mei (thanks to my oily cousin... actually this GMM quite cute hor? no surprises unlike another someone...). And there's this song by Sam Lee and another guy whose name I can't quite catch. Anyone who knows please inform me hor... Thank you.

So besides listening to songs, I also got work one lah. This semester lagi shiong.... Three classes all three got AT LEAST one project work. Like that still never mind, readings also macam increase exponentially. Paper no need money one ah? One class is research, so must go out and do research, collect data loh. Best is we have to finish in 3 months. Siao ah? Besides that still got individual assignments and readings, FOR ONE CLASS!

Then 2nd class must produce a campaign. Besides that there are two other individual papers and a debate which is what I am so not looking forward to. I hate debates. I cannot debate. I will cry one..... Jia lat...

Third class is lagi CMI. One project is extremely reminiscent of one I did last sem. Got case studies, another group interview project (?!) and others. If I can survive this sem, I officially declare myself the 4th member of the Powerpuff Girls team. I can be called Buaytahan.

But praise God, my major thesis project is going very well. The direction is set, the question is formulated. I am so happy when my adviser told me the question looks good. You know how much time I spent thinking about it, drawing it, formulating it or not??? Don't play play ok? (For more information about my thesis, you can forget about it.)

Oh and this year I bought all my books online. Saved me a big sum of money. But then of course, if you're married and feeling generous, or even single and feeling generous, you can still give me ang pows.

This year is off to a good start. I got a job, which means that for some time my finances will not go into the red. And also my Father will not allow me to go poor because He shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

I am also praying for a research award that I am applying for. This will help me fund for my research project and allow me to concentrate on my work. I know God has answered my prayer. (Say Amen)

What else? Ok, the weather. Something is seriously amiss with the weather in Ithaca. I mean it's January and in the middle of winter, the weather should be bitter, blistering and bleary cold. But NO..... this morning it was sunny and warm! I could walk outside with a t-shirt! Serious... Thank God I did not do that because in a matter of two hours, it began to pour and the wind started blowing.

Oh, and if you think only those skinny people will be blown away by strong wind, you're dead wrong. You see, fat people like me was blown off my path today. Have you ever experienced walking against the wind, and realizing that you are actually not moving? Yes, that was me. I had to charge against the wind and steady myself, in case I get blown off my path.

I remembered in the scripture Jesus stood on the boat and calmed the storm. Can you imagine the power and strength of Jesus as not onlydid He withstood the storm, He calmed it. Wow...

Anyway, another two hours later, I walked out of the library and lo and behold! It started to snow! No, not snow. It was raining ICE. It's like little ice balls falling from the sky. It hurts.

The weather changed from warm to cold in a matter of four hours. This is the beauty of Ithaca.

PS: According to reliable sources, this year the married not generous so the singles cannot be rich.
