At a conference
Here I am, blogging from a hotel room in Bolton Landing, NY. It's about 4 hour's drive from Ithaca. It's cold here, and it's SNOWING. Yes, I can't believe it either. It's April, for crying out loud.I am at the Bolton Pines Motel, which is pretty decent. It has minimal amenities, but the room is clean and it looks well-maintained. I'm quite happy and thank God for I had a worse picture of how my room will look like.
As there are few people on this trip, I got the room all my myself. Which is good.
I am at the CSTEP conference, which stands for the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program. It is targeted at college students enrolled in science and technology-related fields.
Why am I here?
Because I am a graduate intern at CSTEP for my boss Richard dacoolestguyintheworld O'Brien.
I really like it.
I basically heard the best opening keynote address ever.
It's motivating, uplifting, and full of life!
If you want to be a keynote speaker, these are what you need.
Anyway, some things that I will share with you today...
The issue is not about setting a high goal and missing it, but about setting a low goal and actually hitting it.
Setback is a setup for a comeback.
Watch your thoughts for they become your words.
Choose your words for they become your actions.
Understand your actions for they become your habits.
Study your habits for they become your character.
Develop your character for it becomes your DESTINY.
=====
Wow-ed.
