AlwaySane Is In Da House

Alive yeah

For those who haven't heard or seen me you probably think I'm dead.

No no... I'm actually still very much alive and active.

The past month has been really hectic and eventful and it has given me little time and energy to do anything else except to eat, sleep, and relax.

Yesterday was the first month anniversary of me at my new job.

Right!

I started on 08.08.07 remember?

I insist on a super-duper-fragilistic-exuberatious-celebration next year when I celebrate my one-year anniversary on 08.08.08!

Just to make it clear once and for all, I'm now working at SH, which is the cluster group office of several hospitals and specialist centres in the eastern part of Singapore.

I'm also "stationed" at SGH so if you're around the area just give me a buzz and I'll introduce to the most amazing Yong Tau Foo Curry at 155 cafe.

What do I do?

I put out fire.

No, seriously.

It's only my first month and I'm already thrown into the deep end. Working through the situations without any prior knowledge is pretty hard but it's also a good chance for me to challenge myself.

For example, the two publications that are under my portfolio needs to be produced in the next two months. How I will do that, I have no clue. But they have to be done.

And there are other ad-hoc projects that come along that I need to write about.

As well as other design-related projects.

But there's one exciting CHANGE coming up and I can't wait!

There are also lots of areas that I can see myself working on, which is exciting.

All in all, I praise God for a wonderful team that I work with, and a nice position which is challenging and yet not overly-demanding.

At least I still get to sleep and catch up with close friends.
