Random Spills 1.0
Writing about some random stuffs here so read if you're free or bored of counting your leg hair.Work, work, and more work
Working in my current job is an absolute haven of peace and tranquility. My *ahem* boss da'man *ahem* is practically the most bo-chup man ever lived on earth. He tells me to do whatever I want, and take my time with everything. Of course, I had absolutely no problems with that.
Chill.....
School work is getting busier, even though it's the frothing summer. (Oh, and the summer here is HOT. HOT to the point where I think I am a heat stroke borderline candidate.) Oh, and even though it's summer and I should be out there having fun, I am sad to say that I am not. All because of you, thesis, all because of you. I am writing the last part of the 2nd chapter and hopefully, I can finish off the Methodology part by the middle of next week!

Graduation!
Went for Cornell graduation with one of Zheshen's housemates. It was fun, and I got sun burnt. So, at least I can say that it's one thing I gained. Because unlike NTU, the graduates here basically just stood up, clap, and sat down. (???) But it was an experience, seeing the SHEER NUMBER of people in the school. It finally dawned on me that truly, Ithaca is ruled by Cornell.
As for the boy, he looked (a little) tanned and actually looked pretty good in his new shirt *wink* !

Weekend
Did lots of random stuffs. Watched Xmen 3, played skipbo and rummikub, started a jigsaw puzzle, cooked a lot (I almost burnt down the house), and took walks everywhere. We also met up with friends.
OH OH.... we watched a Hindi movie in a friend's house. Do you know that Bollywood also makes thrillers? And they are sooo good!!! My goodness, and this one doesn't have any dancers or coconut trees in them. I eat my words. Bollywood movies are NOT, I repeat, NOT classified by how many trees there are or the number of costume changes in 5 minutes.
Oh and Monday was sooooooo hot, we had no choice but to look for somewhere air-conditioned. We also spent an afternoon in Barnes and Nobles listening to Christopher Alam's cd (thank you guys, once again), and after that we read how men and women are different. Zheshen was convinced the book was written for women. I disagree ;)

Me and my sick mind
Sane has a sick mind.
She almost single-handedly screwed her relationship.
Yup, that's what I did too over the weekend.
I have this impeccable tendency to let my imagination run wild. And this time, I let it run downhill at the speed of light.
Things are going so well between us, and yet I kept on thinking that something bad will happen. Things I saw around me affected me, and it made me doubt and to some extent, made me insecure and looked down on myself.
Not only did my stupidity brought me down, it affected the boy as well.
It was craziness, some "evil thoughts", that made my imagination run wild. It got me angry, it made me sick, it made me insane with thoughts of situations that did not happen, and may not ever happen.
But nonetheless, I did let them affect me. And like what I said earlier on, it almost ruined a wonderful relationship.
But Thank God, He's amazing-ly merciful and awesome.
He's blessed me with a boy who's immensely patient and understanding; someone who never left me (except for THAT FEW OCCASSIONS THAT SPARKED OFF THESE WILD IMAGINATIONS) but tried his best to comfort me and support me.
God has blessed me with a boy who's never full of himself but always patiently waits on the Lord; someone who is able to make me laugh and cry at the same time.
Thank God for slapping me and waking me up, and salvaging this relationship before it's too late.
THANK YOU!
(phew...)
It really takes superhuman faith to trust in the Lord, and praise God we have Jesus!

AMERICAN IDOL AND THE HOOHAS
So we all know. The results are out and Taylor won. (Yay, clap, Uma went crazy...)
OK. Fine. Get a grip.
But about four weeks ago, we were still enjoying the presence of ONE GREAT GUY by the name of CHRIS DAUGHTRY!!!!!
Wasn't he just the best! The cutest! The rocker!
But he was out.
Not only was it me, but almost all my friends were crazy about Chris! We (almost) boycotted the show when he was out!
However, that is not the point of the story.
The point is, a friend of mine Jer, happened to somehow through some legitimate *scratch head* means get to know that.........

Chris was in a Christian band.

And there are some MP3s like Agnus Dei and Heart of Worship up for grabs and they are so good!!!

See?
Those who are faithful and stay till the end shall be rewarded, just like watching X-Men 3.
Out.

Thanks for sharing sister.
Hmm...we aren't perfect, neither are our partners (for me, it's partner to be lar ! *wink*).
Let's just say we don't assume or try to guess what our partners are feeling or why they did what they did. We definitely do not want misunderstandings and in worst cases, to break-up and go our own separate ways. Cos deep inside our hearts, we still love, treasure and appreciate them a lot lot. :)
Personally, i feel communication is the best answer. Talk about it openly, share your feelings. Tell Daddy God and ask Him to help, what words to say etc.
Then we look forward and move on yar ? It's ok to make mistakes. We all do that at times yar ? The more important thing is that we learn from them and we move on from there.
Like what pastor said, Daddy God won't fall off the throne when we make mistakes or fail. Rather, He opens His arms wide to embrace us into His love !
Wah, can;t believe it, i wrote so much !? Okie, confirm I not lazy hor...hee hee...
