The perfect breakfast


Delicious Sausage Peach Breakfast Bake


Serves: 8

Ingredients

The Dish
2 cup pancake mix
16 oz can sliced peaches
8 oz package sausage links (or 5 hotdogs)

The Syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp margarine

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F

Halve the sausages (length-wise) and cook till they turn brown

Prepare pancake mix according to package directions EXCEPT use only 1 cup of milk

Pour mixture into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish

Drain peaches, and keep 1/2 cup syrup (set syrup aside)

Arrange peaches and sausages on top of batter

Bake at 350 F, 30 minutes (do the toothpick test)

Cut into squares


In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and peach syrup

Cook and stir until thick and bubbly

Stir in maple syrup and margarine

How to eat

Place a square onto a plate

Pour warm syrup over it
